This image was taken as part of the ESO Cosmic Gems programme [1] using the FORS instrument on the Very Large Telescope at ESO’s Paranal Observatory in Chile

It was rebinned (2x2) to 4kx4k size and sampling 0

based on images obtained with the Wide-Field Imager camera on the MPG/ESO 2

This visible light wide field image of the cluster was created from photographs taken through red and blue filters and forming part of the Digitized Sky Survey 2.
